Today we headed back to Anchorage from Denali - We stopped by the visitors center on our way home and Andy picked up a postcard to mail home.
We did a quick drive thru of the town of Talkeetna on our way back. Talkeetna is about 100 miles south for Denali. This is where most of the air taxis are located. The climbers load up here and then are flown to the base of Denali to start their climb. We didn't take any picture or even stop - the small town was over run with tourists that day!
When we got back to Frank and Angels for dinner that had a little mini birthday party for me - what a nice surprise! They are awesome hosts!
