July 13, 2013- Denali National Park
Today we took a tour of
Denali National Park. You can only go into the park on a tour bus, no public vehicles are allowed. There is one road in the park and it is 92 miles long and we did the WHOLE thing - it took 11 hours on a school bus on a dirt road, what an adventure! We saw a lot of animals! Bears, moose, caribou and sheep. And amazing views of Denali! My camera doesn't zoom that well- so my pics aren't the best. It is a beautiful park and an amazing experience.

After our long day we headed into town and had dinner at Prospectors Pizza - it was delicious! Smoked salmon, capers, onions and dill cream cheese on a pizza - yum!
And of course, Andy made a friend!
